Using the FairbanksInfo resource database

Search: You can query the FairbanksInfo resource database in two ways. You can search for a particular agency or program by entering one or more words or an acronym in the search box. The more words you enter the more refined your results. That is, your results will include all words in your search. Click the Search button to run your search.

Browse: You can also browse the database by category. Select a resource category from the pulldown box and you'll get a listing of all programs in that category. The query will run immediately after selecting a category. You'll also get a description of the selected category.

View Results: To view the results of your query, click on the checkbox next to the agencies or programs you'd like to see and then click Display Selected Items. Results can be viewed as Full Listings (complete description with contact information) or Short Listings (contact information only, including email and web site). To assist with selecting multiple listings, you can Select All or Clear All with a single click of the respective icon. As a shortcut, you can view a single listing by clicking directly on the item of your choice.

Save Results: When viewing one or more listing, you'll see two buttons to Print the List or Make a PDF of the displayed listings. Printing results with the "Print" button will list items in a single column. A PDF will list them in two columns, a more effcient use of paper for long lists.
